Vibrant, Durable, and Versatile. Coast’s Rope & Leather Harness has two leash attachments, one on the back and another on the chest. Giving you the option of where to connect the leash based on you and your pup’s walking style. If your dog is a puller, attach your pup’s leash to the chest loop allowing you to comfortably reduce pulling, neck strain and escaping; providing ultimate flexibility, and more control on your strolls.
For dogs who need further guidance, connect your favorite Coast leash with Shorti Line to both the front and back of your harness. This will stop him or her from pulling, and allow you to guide your pooch while out and about.
Designed with two adjustment straps to ensure a secure, comfortable fit. The chest strap will only need to be adjusted once, leaving the one belly strap to simply tighten to put on, and loosen to remove.
Handmade out of marine grade rope, stainless steel hardware, and the highest quality Wickett & Craig vegetable tanned saddle leather. Our harnesses are extremely durable, buttery soft, and light enough for any breed to enjoy.
** Please note: The martingale loop on our X-Small harness is fixed. Allowing for the same function as our larger sizes, yet designed specifically for smaller breeds.
*** Leather is a natural product. Both texture and color will vary slightly from hide to hide, making each piece unique.

Prior to receiving my new harness, I was having to use a prong collar lately as we have a million bunnies running through the neighborhood and Bella has a high prey drive. She sees them way before I do, or I would be better prepared for a simple correction. I've tried other halters and she wasn't listening.
From the very first walk, she understood. I used the D ring on the front of the halter and she looked to me for direction, every time I gently tugged it. I swear it brought a tear to my eye. I attribute it to how well the halter fits, due to all of the adjustments you can make. It fits her like a glove. It took less than a day for the halter and collar to soften and form fit her body. It's made so exquisitely, I'm amazed you can sell it so cheap. I can tell how much you love dogs and want to do right by them. I love the way the halter feels when I remove it. It's so strong, I don't worry at all about it breaking if she lunged, yet super soft on her body. No rubbing or irritation.
I love the shortie too. It's so useful, like taking her to the groomer, training or busy areas.

My two dogs are 14 and 15 years old. That’s as long as I’ve been searching for harnesses that fit. Both my small dogs are litter runts so they are small to begin with. I’ve struggled with never finding anything to fit because they both are between a S-M and we got these harnesses and absolutely love everything about them! Quality, fit (several areas to adjust for the exact fit). The dogs love them and the are more comfortable for them too. I highly recommend these products for small dogs

Any Coast product exposed to saltwater or sand should be rinsed with fresh water immediately after use, and allow to air dry. This will help prolong the life of your product, and help with premature aging.
To clean stainless steel hardware, it is recommended to use a metal polish. To remove excess dirt from any Coast product made of marine rope, mix warm water and a mild detergent such as Dawn into a bucket. DO NOT use bleach or any harsh chemical product. Soak a sponge or clean cloth into the solution and spot clean areas that need attention. Allow the solution to sit for up to 10 minutes, rinse and repeat if needed. Air dry.
All of Coast’s leather products will get better with age, if properly cared for. To best ensure their longevity, it is recommended that you USE a saddle soap and conditioner when removing dirt. To clean, create a lather by using saddle soap and warm water, and apply with sponge or clean cloth. Immediately rinsing with water, removing dirt and excess soap. While leather is drying, it is important to apply a conditioner to the leather, to bring its moisture back and prevent the leather from cracking. To condition, use a clean cloth and apply leather conditioner to leather. Allow product to air dry.
DO NOT put any Coast product in dryer.
